Short answer: In Z Route: Redemption, spend alliance coins every week on fighter items, UR Omni Hero Shards, wingman chests, shields, relocators and speedups. Use the VIP shop for stamina and cheap advanced relocators, the Honor shop for the Wingman UR Chest, the Trial shop for UR Omni Hero Shards, the Lv.3 Fighter Component Chest and the Mythic Trial Chest, and the Season shop for the Eye of Judgment, the Golden Hand Statue and the MR Gear Blueprint. Only open the diamond store in an emergency or to finish your 90-pull recruitment guarantee.
Z Route has six shops, and each one runs on its own currency: diamonds, alliance coins, VIP access, honor, Trial Medals and season currency. Every shop mixes real bargains with items that look tempting and quietly waste your currency. Most of the waste comes from buying things you can get for free elsewhere, or from spending a weekly allowance on items that only matter much later. This guide covers all six shops, sorts every notable item into buy first, buy if you have spare and skip, and finishes with the patterns that hold across every shop so you can make good calls on items that aren’t listed here.

Note on prices: item names, prices and stock can differ by server and by season. The prices below were checked on a fresh account around Season 1. Treat them as a guide to value, not fixed numbers, and always check the price in your own shop before you buy.
Quick reference: what to buy in each shop
Use this table when you open a shop and want the answer fast. The sections below explain each choice.
| Shop (currency) | Buy first | Buy if you have spare | Skip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diamond store (diamonds) | Nothing on a normal day | Advanced relocator in an emergency; one recruitment ticket to finish the 90-pull guarantee | Everything else (other shops are cheaper) |
| Alliance shop (alliance coins, resets Monday) | Fighter Parts, Lv.1 Fighter Component Chest, UR Omni Hero Shards | Wingman chests, shields, advanced/alliance/random relocators, advanced fighter upgrade guide, speedups | Survivor recruit ticket, Toxina shards (if your 5 slots are full), equipment materials, resource chests, survivor tokens |
| VIP shop (diamonds, VIP level) | Stamina, advanced relocators (3 for 600 diamonds) | Speedups (8-hour needs VIP 10), fighter parts, Wingman SSR Chest | Equipment materials, resources, decoration components, SR/SSR Omni Hero Shards, EXP items, refined stone, recruitment tickets |
| Honor shop (honor) | Wingman UR Chest (wording unconfirmed) | Universal Exclusive Weapon Shards (only if you own an exclusive weapon); recruitment ticket last | Composite Material, UR Decoration Chest and shards, UR Omni Hero Shards |
| Trial shop (Trial Medals) | UR Omni Hero Shards, Lv.3 Fighter Component Chest, Mythic Trial Chest | Wingman SSR Chest and wingman components, SSR hero resource selection chests, 60-minute speedups | Exclusive weapon shards if you have no exclusive weapon |
| Season shop (season currency) | Eye of Judgment, Golden Hand Statue, then MR Gear Blueprint | Devourer of Worlds avatar frame | Season 1 skill points, Promotion Medal (if cheaper elsewhere), class and skill reset tickets |
How the shops work
All six shops sit behind the same Shop button, as tabs: Diamond, Alliance and VIP on one row, then Trial, Honor and Season Shop. Each tab has its own currency and restock timer. Two rules matter more than any single item.
Restocks punish hoarding. The alliance shop restocks every Monday, and the timer at the top of the tab counts down to it. Weekly stock limits mean coins you don’t spend this week can’t buy last week’s items. The Honor shop showed “Restocks every month” on the account we checked, so its stock lasts longer and you can be more patient there. Spend weekly currencies weekly, on a plan.
The same item has different prices in different shops. UR Omni Hero Shards, relocators, speedups and wingman chests appear in several tabs. Buy each item in the shop where it costs the least of a currency you have plenty of. That is why the advice for the same item changes from shop to shop below.
New players should also read the First Week Mistakes guide, which covers the early spending traps that drain diamonds before these shops even matter, and check the active gift codes for free diamonds, speedups and stamina.
Diamond store: what to buy
The diamond store is the default shop for your premium currency, and for most of the game the right purchase there is nothing. Almost everything it sells is cheaper in another shop, often by a lot. There are only two times when opening it is a good idea.
Emergency: the advanced relocator
If a fight breaks out and you have no relocator left, the diamond store sells the advanced relocator, which moves your base anywhere on the map. Buying one so you can join a rally or escape a hit is a fair trade in that moment. Just keep it as an emergency purchase. The VIP shop sells three advanced relocators for 600 diamonds, while the diamond store price we saw was 1,500 diamonds for one, so stock up there instead.
Finishing the 90-pull recruitment guarantee
The recruit screen has a counter, and you are guaranteed a hero at 90 pulls. If your counter reads 80/90 and you hold nine recruitment tickets, you are exactly one ticket short of a 10-pull that lands the guarantee. Buying that single ticket (about 400 diamonds where we checked) is one of the best diamond spends in the game, because you are finishing a reward you have already mostly paid for. If your counter is far from 90, don’t bother. Buying tickets to fill a big gap costs far more than it returns.
Outside those two cases, walk past the diamond store. Save your diamonds for the VIP shop, where the same items cost much less.
Alliance shop: what to buy
The alliance shop is the most valuable shop for free-to-play players. Alliance coins come from the donation screen, where you donate whatever resource is requested (oil, for example) and get coins back. Taking part in alliance events adds more. An active member should earn enough each week to clear the important items.
Because the stock restocks every Monday, the goal is not to save coins but to spend them well every week. A player who buys the right five items every Monday will pull ahead of one who sits on a large balance.

Buy first: fighter items
Fighter Parts and the Lv.1 Fighter Component Chest should be your first buys each week. They are cheap (about 1,000 coins each where we checked), they come with generous stock limits, and your fighter needs a steady supply of both. The in-game tooltip lists Radar Exploration, the alliance shop and packs as sources of Fighter Parts, so the alliance shop is one of only a few free ways to get them. The advanced fighter upgrade guide belongs in the same group. A simple rule for this shop: anything for your fighter is a good buy. Plan your upgrades with the Sky Fighter Calculator and check the Fighter Command building page.

Buy next: UR Omni Hero Shards
UR Omni Hero Shards upgrade your orange (UR) heroes, and you will need a lot of them for a long time. They cost more than the fighter items (about 3,000 coins each, with low stock), but they are some of the best long-term value in the shop. Buy them even if you aren’t ready to use them yet.
Wingman chests: save and open in bulk
Wingman chests are worth buying, but don’t open them one at a time. Save them up and open a large batch together, which gives you a better chance of an orange (top-quality) wingman in one session. The Wingman Lab page shows what your wingmen need next.
Shields for alliance competition day 6
Shields (the bubbles marked 24h, 12h and 8h) block enemy attacks. They matter most on day 6 of the alliance competition, which falls on Saturday, when attacks on your base peak. Go into that day with either one 24-hour shield or three 8-hour shields. Open all your alliance competition chests first, then raise the 24-hour shield and rest for the day. If your alliance still needs you active, use an 8-hour shield instead and cover the next window when it runs out. The Alliance Competition guide explains the full week.
Relocators: pick the cheapest one for the job
The alliance shop is the cheapest regular source of the advanced relocator, which moves you anywhere on the map. Pick a clear spot before you use it. The alliance relocator only takes you back to your alliance territory, but it costs 2,500 alliance coins against 7,500 for the advanced one. If you just need to get home after a battle, use the cheaper one. The random relocator throws your base to a random spot, which can save your troops when someone is attacking you and you have no time to choose.
Spare coins: speedups
Once the items above are bought, put leftover coins into speedups. They work on building, research, troop training and healing, so they are never wasted.
Skip in the alliance shop
- Survivor recruit ticket: poor value unless you have a huge surplus of coins.
- Toxina shards: if your five formation slots are already filled, her shards sit unused. Her third skill only works against monsters, though Venom Burst still works against players. For PvP, put the coins into UR Omni Hero Shards instead. The purple heroes guide explains which SSR heroes are worth building.
- Equipment materials (Conductive Crystal, Composite Material and Heat-Resistant Gold): your buildings produce them, and dismantling the free gear you collect gives you more.
- Resource chests: far too expensive for what they give.
- Survivor tokens: only if you have a specific need, which most players don’t.
VIP shop: what to buy
The VIP shop unlocks once you have VIP points, so it may be locked on a brand-new server account. When it opens, it has some of the best diamond prices in the game, which makes it the right place for most of your diamond spending.
Buy first: stamina
Stamina powers almost every action, and you will run short on normal days, let alone once a season gets going. You don’t have to buy it every single week, but when you have the diamonds, stamina is the top priority here.
Buy first: advanced relocators (3 for 600)
The VIP shop offers three advanced relocators for 600 diamonds. The diamond store price we saw was 1,500 diamonds. If you need relocators and can’t get them from the alliance shop, buy them here.
Buy if spare: speedups, fighter parts, Wingman SSR Chest
Speedups come in many sizes, from 5 minutes to 1 hour to 8 hours. The 8-hour speedup is the cheapest per hour but needs VIP 10. That is hard to reach without spending, but not impossible, so treat it as a long-term goal. Fighter parts are worth buying for the same reason as in the alliance shop. The Wingman SSR Chest is a good item with one condition: only buy it if the diamonds you have left still cover next week’s priorities. Never empty your balance on one chest.
Skip in the VIP shop
Skip resources and equipment materials (Heat-Resistant Gold, Composite Material, Conductive Crystal) once their systems are fully open on your server. You get enough from buildings and dismantling. Skip the universal decoration component unless you need just one or two to finish an upgrade. Ten or twenty is an expensive road. Also skip SR and SSR Omni Hero Shards, skill EXP books, hero EXP chests of any quality, refined stone and survivor recruitment tickets. All of these are easier to get elsewhere.
Honor shop: what to buy
The Honor shop grows as you progress, so it starts with only a handful of items and adds more later. It is also the shop with the most interesting item in the game right now.

Buy first: Wingman UR Chest (read the wording)
The name suggests a guaranteed top-quality wingman, but the description doesn’t fully agree with itself. The tooltip says the chest gives one random R, SR, SSR or UR wingman, while another line of its text mentions a 100% chance. The chest also gives 100 Advanced Wingman Fusion Parts, so the 100% line may refer to those parts, or it may simply be a typo. Until the developers confirm it, treat the UR wingman as not guaranteed. It is still the best honor buy: the fusion parts alone are useful, and the odds of a high-quality wingman look better than from ordinary chests. If you open one, check what you get before buying a second.
Buy if relevant: Universal Exclusive Weapon Shards
As the season goes on, some heroes can get an exclusive weapon. These shards upgrade an exclusive weapon but cannot unlock one. If you don’t own one yet, don’t buy them. If you do, they are very useful. Work out how many you need with the Exclusive Weapon Calculator before you spend.
Skip in the Honor shop
- Composite Material: not worth honor, same as in every other shop.
- UR Decoration Chest and UR Decoration Shards: a level 1 decoration gives a tiny buff. Real value needs many levels and other materials, so the chest is just the first step of an expensive project.
- UR Omni Hero Shards: great in the alliance and Trial shops, but honor is better spent on wingmen here.
- Recruitment ticket: buy it last, after everything else you want.
Trial shop: what to buy
The Trial shop uses Trial Medals and has the clearest priority list of all six shops.
- UR Omni Hero Shards: one of the best places to get them.
- Lv.3 Fighter Component Chest: a higher tier than the alliance shop’s Lv.1 chest, and fighter items are a priority everywhere.
- Mythic Trial Chest: it has a chance to give 100 UR Omni Hero Shards and a chance to give a free Statue of Glory. That is a lot of potential value for one purchase.
With medals left over, buy wingman items next: the Wingman SSR Chest and the standard wingman components. Higher quality means higher priority. After that, the SSR hero resource selection chests and 60-minute speedups are fine buys, but they aren’t the reason to visit this shop. Universal Exclusive Weapon Shards follow the same rule as in the Honor shop: only if you already own an exclusive weapon.
Season shop: what to buy
The Season shop runs on season currency, and its stock is tied to the current season. The advice here is for Season 1, and it may change when Season 2 arrives.
Buy first: Eye of Judgment and Golden Hand Statue
Start with the decoration and city skin items, the Eye of Judgment and the Golden Hand Statue. Free-to-play players rarely get a city skin, and this one is permanent, so it keeps paying off long after the season ends. Next comes the Devourer of Worlds avatar frame if you want it.
Strong buy: MR Gear Blueprint
The MR Gear Blueprint is one of the most expensive items in the Season shop, and still worth it. It promotes existing gear from 4★ UR to 5★ MR. About ten blueprints covers a promotion step on one piece. The catch: promotion only unlocks once your UR gear reaches level 40. Early on it can look pointless, but once your gear is at 4★ and level 40, this is exactly where your season currency should go. Buy the Eye of Judgment and Golden Hand Statue first, then switch to blueprints. The Equipment Calculator shows the blueprints each piece still needs.
Skip in the Season shop
- Season 1 skill points: not recommended.
- Promotion Medal: skip if you can get it cheaper somewhere else.
- Class reset and skill reset tickets: only when you have a real reason to reset.
Patterns across all shops
Once you’ve looked at every shop, the same three patterns keep showing up. Learn them and you can judge any new item without a guide.

- Fighter and wingman items first. The alliance, VIP, Honor and Trial shops all push you toward them. When you aren’t sure what to buy, start there.
- Items that help everything. UR Omni Hero Shards, speedups and stamina appear again and again because they speed up every part of your account. Buy them wherever the price is lowest.
- The skip list is nearly the same everywhere. Equipment materials, resource chests, decoration items, hero EXP items and survivor tickets are either easy to get for free or overpriced.
There are also three exceptions, items you would normally ignore that are smart because each solves one specific problem.

- Recruitment pity ticket: only to complete the 90-pull guarantee.
- Alliance relocator: a third of the advanced relocator’s price when all you need is to get home.
- MR Gear Blueprint: the path from 4★ UR to 5★ MR gear once your gear is level 40.
Weekly shopping plan
A simple routine keeps every shop working for you without much thought:
- Every Monday (alliance shop restock): buy Fighter Parts and the Lv.1 Fighter Component Chest, then UR Omni Hero Shards, then top up wingman chests, shields and relocators. Put the rest into speedups.
- Before Saturday: make sure you hold one 24-hour shield or three 8-hour shields for day 6 of the alliance competition.
- When your diamonds allow: stamina and 3-for-600 advanced relocators in the VIP shop, keeping enough back for next week.
- When Trial Medals pile up: UR Omni Hero Shards, Lv.3 Fighter Component Chest, Mythic Trial Chest, then wingman items.
- Once per season: Eye of Judgment and Golden Hand Statue, then MR Gear Blueprints when your gear is ready.
- Honor: save for the Wingman UR Chest.
Key takeaways
- Z Route has six shops: Diamond, Alliance, VIP, Honor, Trial and Season.
- The alliance shop restocks every Monday, so spend alliance coins every week.
- The diamond store is for emergency relocators and finishing the 90-pull guarantee only.
- VIP shop advanced relocators cost 600 diamonds for 3, against 1,500 for one in the diamond store.
- The 8-hour speedup is the best value per hour but needs VIP 10.
- Hold one 24-hour or three 8-hour shields for Saturday, day 6 of the alliance competition.
- The Wingman UR Chest’s wording is inconsistent, so don’t count on a guaranteed UR wingman.
- Exclusive weapon shards upgrade but can’t unlock an exclusive weapon.
- The MR Gear Blueprint promotes 4★ UR gear to 5★ MR, starting at gear level 40.
Frequently asked questions
When does the alliance shop reset in Z Route?
The alliance shop restocks every Monday. Coins you don’t spend before the restock can’t buy the previous week’s stock, so plan to spend them each week.
What should I buy first in the alliance shop?
Fighter Parts and the Lv.1 Fighter Component Chest, then UR Omni Hero Shards. After that, wingman chests, shields, relocators and speedups.
Is the diamond store worth using?
Rarely. Use it for an emergency advanced relocator during a fight, or to buy the one ticket that completes your 90-pull recruitment guarantee. Most other items are cheaper in the VIP shop or alliance shop.
How many pulls is the recruitment guarantee?
The recruit screen guarantees a hero at 90 pulls. If you’re a ticket or two short of 90, buying the missing tickets is good value.
Where are advanced relocators cheapest?
The alliance shop sells them for alliance coins, and the VIP shop offers 3 for 600 diamonds, against about 1,500 diamonds for one in the diamond store. For getting back to your alliance, the alliance relocator costs 2,500 coins against 7,500 for the advanced relocator.
Does the 8-hour speedup need VIP?
Yes. In the VIP shop the 8-hour speedup is the cheapest per hour, but it needs VIP 10.
Is the Wingman UR Chest in the Honor shop guaranteed?
It isn’t confirmed. The tooltip says one random R, SR, SSR or UR wingman, while other text mentions a 100% chance. Because the chest also gives 100 Advanced Wingman Fusion Parts, the 100% line may be about the parts or may be a typo. It is still the best honor purchase.
Can exclusive weapon shards unlock an exclusive weapon?
No. Universal Exclusive Weapon Shards only upgrade an exclusive weapon you already own. Use the Exclusive Weapon Calculator to see how many you need.
What is in the Mythic Trial Chest?
It has a chance to give 100 UR Omni Hero Shards and a chance to give a free Statue of Glory, which makes it one of the top three Trial shop buys.
What does the MR Gear Blueprint do?
It promotes gear from 4★ UR to 5★ MR. Promotion only unlocks once the UR gear reaches level 40, so buy it once your gear is close to that point.
What should I buy in the Season shop?
In Season 1, buy the Eye of Judgment and the Golden Hand Statue first for the permanent city skin, then the MR Gear Blueprint. The Devourer of Worlds avatar frame is a nice extra.
Should I buy Toxina shards from the alliance shop?
Only if she is in your formation. Her third skill only works against monsters, though Venom Burst still works against players. If your five slots are full, UR Omni Hero Shards are the better buy.
Do shop prices differ between servers?
Yes. Item names, prices and stock can change by server and season. The prices in this guide were seen around Season 1, so check your own shop before buying.
